“Pain in the Web – How Fascia, Posture and Mind interconnect”
I am very happy to share some exciting news with you:
My book about understanding pain is now fully translated into English and carefully rewritten for better readability.
The new edition is called “Pain in the Web” and is now officially available on Amazon.
This project took much longer than expected, but it was worth every hour. The original German version already helped many patients and therapists to understand pain in a more holistic, modern and compassionate way. Now the new English version goes one step further: clearer structure, smoother language, and fresh explanations based on the biopsychosocial understanding of pain.
Why “Pain in the Web”?
The title comes from a central idea in my work:
Pain is never isolated.
It is part of a “web” — a network of physical tension, stress, habits, emotions, environment, past injuries and our nervous system’s learned reactions.
When we understand the whole web, pain becomes less frightening and recovery becomes much more realistic.
This book offers simple language, practical examples from the treatment room, and a view that combines Western science with body awareness, mindfulness and fascia therapy. My goal is to help people feel more empowered and less confused by their symptoms.
