Back Care Training for Educators – With Max Kremer at the German School Kobe

Supporting those who care for children starts with caring for their own health. That’s why we at CrossPhysio are proud to regularly offer back care and prevention training for educators—most recently in collaboration with the German School Kobe International (DSKI).

This year’s training session was led by Max Kremer, a newly qualified physiotherapist from Germany who spent several weeks with us in Mikage as part of a volunteer placement. On our behalf, Max guided the school’s kindergarten team through a hands-on workshop focused on posture, ergonomics, and body-friendly movement strategies for everyday teaching life.

Educators working with young children face unique physical demands: frequent bending, lifting, sitting on low chairs, and being on their feet for long hours. These may seem like small actions, but over time, they can take a toll. That’s why regular training is so important—not just once, but year after year. Building awareness, preventing strain, and updating techniques based on the latest evidence are all part of protecting the health of those who give so much to their students.

We believe this kind of preventative care belongs in every school—and we’re proud to support institutions like the German School Kobe International in making it a priority. Our work with their educators also connects to the posture support we provide for students, helping the whole school community grow stronger, healthier, and more resilient from the inside out.

A big thank you to Max for representing CrossPhysio with professionalism and heart—we look forward to future collaborations!
